Really impressed with the impetus so far on this thread, and I like that last design from Henry- looks class!

I agree with Jerome sponsors are important, and we need to find out exactly what you will have in order to do it properly. It will be 3 companies ideally, www.weridebikes.co.uk, uoscc, university of sheffield, uos logo. already getting pretty busy! I'm not hugely bothered about the crest though, prefer writing and plainness to complicated busy little logos I like the way rothaus cube do their shopping list.

Yeah that Rothaus Cube jersey is the sort of look I was envisaging already getting pretty busy! I'm not hugely bothered about the crest though, prefer writing and plainness to complicated busy little logos It's a University Of Sheffield CC jersey, if you deny it the badge the jersey loses it's whole point of being. Sure it can be played around with but it's prestigious and something we should be proud of. Birmingham's whole kit is based around their crest and it looks ace

Pic of Birgminhams jersey? To be fair I totally disagree with you Other clubs don't use it, they have their own logo, for example Sheffield Sabres. I feel we can be proud of Uni without having to base the design on something over 100 years old. It doesn't really "fit", can include it but it doesn't need to be centre stage.

Lol to the above picture!
Yeah, probably just not just too big on the back, definitely on the jersey though.

Thanks alice, funny you posted champ-sys as I was talking to my teammate at home who's just had his new manchester kit by them I think and it looks ace, kit selection looks good, need to get sponsors sorted asap and then can create the final design brief... Paying separately is a good idea but it shouldn't really be a hassle anyway, but I'll look at Carvalho again, although they didnt look great the last time I looked... what do people think about zips? I'm happy with a 3/4 zip, just want it concealed, I guess you could order a full zip when we place the order, as you can have different options etc I believe

For some reason it won't let me add attachments so got a link to flickr instead. Maybe 'Sheffield cycling' on the shorts should be replaced with 'Sheffield university'?
