XC course for B.U.S.A

"Hi all,

Last site visit now completed and all looking good.

News on the XC course, a large chunk of extra forest we wanted to use is now not obtainable as the forestry and the owner of it are not on speaking terms!! (Not MTB'ers fault) so XC course will consist of:

Initial tarmac climb to spread pack.
Fire road section.
Sections of existing trail route and fire road (So plenty of technical stuff not just dull big ring grind!!)
The descent of the existing trail into the car park arena.
And round again on trail if more laps to be done.

The final route will be available at the event, it can't all be practised now as some uses bits of road/forest not usually permitted.

Total lap approx 9 miles, Paddy to decide on number of laps for Sport XC and Champs XC depending on final route.

Good racing etiquette will be required to allow overtaking on some sections so this will be strictly enforced by the commisaires.
