Anyone fancy catching the train out to the peaks, doing a big loop (chapel gate, rushup edge, mam torr, then on to ladybower) probably about 50k (about 3/4 off road) if we get the train there and back, or about 15k extra if we cycle back (mostly road).
Date: Sat 18th anyone?
anyone welcome as Ill be pushing up chapel gate and most of the other climbs anyway.

ritey, heres the plan
teain leaves at 10:14am from the station, so i'd suggest meeting at 10 in the station enterance, under the big information boards. train fare is about £3.50 with a railcard.
I did a route with some guys off the stw forum this weekend and it took 4 hours to do 40k, i was thinking maybe doing the same loop again and dependign on time adding on an extra loop to bring the total up to about 50k. Most of the decents are a combination of causeway rockyness with near bamford steepness and the climbs are challanging/pushes.
Bring all the usual riding kit , lots of layers, bannanas, chocolate, biscuits, sandwiches and lost of water, wooly hat (for waiting at the station), phone (waterproof sandwich bag), money (train and emergency mars bar/ pub stops), tools, innertubes and anything else you can fit in a trailpack.
