I tempted by taking my singlespeed project for a bit of a ride around the city this evening, all on road/pavement, might ride down some steps and stuff but mostly to just go out and get my legs spinning, who's interested and what sort of time?

I've lost nearly one, in about 2 1/2 weeks, so by the summer I reckon you could do it!
(just about fit into my new Fleshgear DH trousers now)

fair play si, however I don't think I'm going to be sub-thirteen stone ever (let alone some sort of ten stone whippety type) without some sort of major disease/amputation.

fair play si, however I don't think I'm going to be sub-thirteen stone ever (let alone some sort of ten stone whippety type) without some sort of major disease/amputation. Nor am I yet. aim is to just dip under the 13 stione mark, and not have the appearance of a beer gut, without ever drinking sufficient quantities of the stuff to truly warrant it. Anyway, better get on with a bit more work, then go for my lunch time run/ghetto circuits. I'm hoping that a mix of daily non-bike activity and my specific hip exercises will mean I can get on my bike very soon, feeling fitter and stronger all round, withou my knees blowing up in the first 5 mins. Random injuries, that just kind of develop over time, really suck! Might mean I actually get myself sorted out a bit though.
