Exams are almost over. The second semester is about to start. It's the perfect time to get back into the riding spirit.
Official rides are as follows, but feel free to post when you are going out and want company. Wednesday: Rides still start at 1:30, until easter. These tend to be shorter, you'll be back between 3:30 and 6. You will need commuting lights to begin.
Sunday: Until BUCS has finished these will alternate between Ghetto Races and longer rides over stanage and beyond. Starting at 11am from the arts tower.
As always: Remember to bring a working bike, tools, pump, spare tubes, helmet, gloves, and ucard to all rides.

Ride on sunday the 6th. Meet 11:00 at the arts tower.
My bike is still broken, so I won't be there. Decide amongst yourselves where to go.

Please make sure a ride leader attends, for health and safety.

Ride on Wednesday, starting 1:30 at the arts tower - regardless of weather. We'll head up to houndkirk, maybe do burbage then back through Dore and the eccy woods.

Ride tomorrow. Might take the long road to burbage, then maybe back down totley. 20km ish, but nice and non-tech.

Tomorrows ride, potentially similar to last wednesdays with a few tweaks, so houndkirk, burbage and back over blackamoor through Dore.
See you at 1:30!

Who wants a long ride on sunday? Thinking of: going over stanage, hurst clough, long road section to Castleton, up Mam Tor's broken road, down the Mam Tor bobsleigh track. Then tired people can get the train back from Edale and the rest can try and get from Edale to the a57 and back.
This would be a long ride, Sheffield to Castleton alone is ~15 miles on the road and we are offroading it and doing much further, but the pace will be relaxed and as long as you bring plenty of food, water, money and clothes we should be fine.
If people are dead against this we can do a normal stanage route.

The ride tomorrow won't be too far/long to allow you all to get back in time to spruce up for the social

Meant to post this earlier.
Sundays ride we'll head out over Stanage, then via Thornhill and Aston, to Win Hill. I don't remember riding Win Hill this uni year, so it could be new for some of you.
11 at the arts tower.

Nice and sunny so hopefully it should be getting fast and dry in the Peaks! For the route tomorrow was thinking, out through the parks, plantations, houndkirk, over to blackamoor to do a drop, then take whitelow lane back up for a different second drop. See you at 1.30

No XC ride on Sunday unless any other ride leader is available, as Robin is at bucs and I can’t make it.
If you’re planning on going out anyway, post up here if you want someone to ride with, see you Wednesday.

I think I will be going out on Sunday morning. I expect it will be earlier than usual as I have things to be getting on with. May potentially head out at 9 with the aim of being back by 12. May go on a different route round Burbage (Robin special).
