deffinitly worth buildin ur own if ur not lookin to spend over 100 tho u can get those magicshine lights i herd for about 50 quid but the battery lives not brilliant. im havin a go at building some total costs come to around £30 so far tho still got a few bits to get; ssc p7 led £13 3.6-4.2V, 900 lumin max , aluminium backed pcb £2, heat sink £1.7, mirror from the magic shine light £5 and 6 lithium cells to make the battery £9 , ill keep posting on how the build goes but if the batterys turn out to be as good as they claim, tho obviously not for 1.50 each, it should produce around 700 lumens and run for around 6 hours but could be a disaster
