Getting university socks seems to be a bit of a waste of time and money unless we would be able to secure a decent chunk of sponsorship money. Otherwise, the money would better be spent on other expenses e.g. transport to events. If a load of people are keen on getting socks, then a bike shop may be able to do a deal on a bulk buy of yellow and black ones which aren't University personalised?

Yeah that was rather tongue in cheek... I was playing along... there is no way Im going through the hassle of sorting socks! One thing to remember is numbers, if we get the same design it will be hard to get enough together to put in an order (minimum orders, and to get it to a sensible price). We are sticking to black and gold these days, but have had new kit every kit for the last 3 years since Ive been here, its exciting, its fresh. It shows people we are moving forward. We get more options for riding in uni colours etc Also I think the chance of getting it on nicer kit is a good idea, a definite improvement.

I'm sold on going with endura for a new road / xc kit. We could get some proper nice stuff.
