Robin I didn't see this... I'll get you back. If you weren't there you missed out, was excellent, fresh and grippy, well more grippy than you'd have thought. I will not be out on Wednesday now as I have a stupid late lecture....

Riding again this wednesday, as always 1:30 at the arts tower. Should be another snowy ride but it might be getting icy by Weds.
Bring lights or we'll force you to head back early and you'll miss out on the rest of the fun.

Not going to be able to ride this wednesday again due to all my cancelled lectures being moved to weds afternoon! and wont make it out sunday either, so I was wondering if theres going to be a christmas themed ride on the last wednesday of term? Bit of tinsel and lighting?

The third round of the dark and white Mountain Bike Orienteering is this Sunday start from 9:00. Since the starting venue is Whirlowdale road, one of the roads we cross in Ecclesall woods, I was thinking of trying it out. Local venue, local knowledge and we should find some new paths in that area. It'll cost around £15 (Slightly less if you enter as a pair), which is a bit steep, but it will be good fun and they provide a full colour map. If anyone else wants to join in I'll be passing the arts tower at 9:00 and i'll wait for 5 minutes. The actual event lasts for 3hrs. More details www.darkandwhite.co.uk/challenge-events-outdoor-activities.asp?race_id=302Entry might be full so i make no promises for being able to take part.

Is there a normal ride going out later at 11 as well? Was hoping to get out on the bike after 3 weeks of doing coursework.
I do like the sound of the above but I would have to pair up with someone as my peak district knowledge is not great + i am particuarly unfit atm so I would slow my partner down!

Last week of the semester! Luckily for me, i'm almost completely finished! But, i know some of you aren't. So good luck with any remaining deadlines.
I'm going out for a longish ride on tuesday. Starting at 1:00 from the arts tower. Plan is: Ranmoor, a track i've never ridden before over strines to ladybower - Apparently it ends in steep rocks - then A57 all the way back. Might get dark so commuting lights are necessary.
Wednesdays ride is only on if someone wants to lead it. So ride leaders, post up here if your interested. Instead i'm joining a nightride from dore station, more info in the nightride thread.
