hey guys the start sheet is up. go to www.busacycling.biz/?section=news&action=show&id=60to see it. We've got 10 entered so thats a good effort. Its starts at 1pm so I rekon we should meet at the Place in Broomhill for 11.15. That gives us plenty of time to get out there warmed up etc. what you think? |

There are still places left for supporters in the support vehicle...... also, if any of you guys racing want anything taking for you (clothes, food, turbos etc) then drop me an email (cpa04ajs) and i'll see what i can fit in.

I've gota spare turdo if anyone wants to borrow it for saturday to warm up on? Post back on here and I'll try and get it chucked in the support car! My parents are up this weekend so I can't make it (half-term coincides with the climb again this year). Good luck to everyone though, don't let that leeds lot show you up!!

I'm not riding now guys, im sorry. I haven't done any training for a few months and after the ride on wednesday a few weeks ago I decided that I definately dont have any form at the moment. I'll definately start coming out on rides from November onwards.
Could you send my appoligies to the organiser?

yo bedford, u should still ride just to represent, i aint been ridin for at least a couple of weeks, got a cold as well but i'll be coughin my way up there, u never know, u might do the one time we need to get a decent team position....mikeyg, i'll be takin some photos. we'll have at least 1 turbo out there as mines goin in a car.

I'd echo what Kyle said. Don't worry about not having form. We just need as many people as possible taking part to maximise our chances of taking the team prizes.
Pete's parents are also driving out to the event so if anyone wants something taking out to the event get it to Petes house (top of Roslin road the house with the Penguin in the window) by sat morning. Don't forget there is space in Andy's car as well.

Last year there was an offical photographer who takes lots of snaps. I think you have to buy them, but you can look at proofs online.
Again, I'd recommend you ride Bedford!! You may do better than you think, there will be some ppl who have never tried riding a hill there! And, also it is good practice, you'll experience the ferocity of the event, and it will make you realise how hard you can push yourself! Also you paid £7, that would be a waste if didnt go!

Also, im thinking of biking out a bit later than 11.15, as starting later. Ill be leaving at 12.10 so can hopefully get there at 1 to see the first lot of Sheffield riders go off. If anyone else wants to come at this time, give me a text on 07986041249 and can arrange where to meet
