Right, discussion was starting on Andy's Lincoln GP thread so thought could get better coverage with it's own thread...

So basically the Pizza Hut ride doesn't have to involve Pizza Hut but should be a ride that ends somewhere where we can eat? If we went on a Sunday we could go for a roast!

Shall we do the MTB one on the same day/time and come back all together for eating mass amounts of food?

Clara - No we don't normally go to the pizza hut it's just called the pizza hut ride for some reason.
Dave - yeah, let's do it on the same sunday or saturday. Do you normally go for a big ride in the peaks / what day you think would be best?
We can either do about a 100 mile ride in the peaks or do a slightly further, flatter ride. Recently they went to york. Any thoughts? We could do an epic ride round the west side of the peaks.

Something like this. Not espcially far but very difficult terrain. Or this - Holme Moss and the Cat and Fiddle.

Well you know me, I do love climbing. Both of those routes look brilliant mate, what do the other guys say?

it's called the Pizza Hut ride specifically because they do an all you can eat buffet and the tradition was to do that as far as I know, epic routes John, quite like the idea of going somewhere completely new and 4 King of the Mountains climbs would be fun, although we'll have to bring a rope to tow tucker home haha well all of us after that something out East maybe

all these 100's of miles and hills sound perfect for the only bike I have in sheff atm . . . the SX trail - you'll be able to keep up won't u JJ ?? ;-P Ye this sounds like a top event to do a cheeky little XC and Roady meet up - maybe worth ringing up where ever we decide to go for food at the end and tryin to get some sort of cheap food/ drinks sorted ?

I don't mind a weekday but can't do 18-22 of May, though if that's good for everyone else I'll have to miss out.

No we don't normally go to the pizza hut it's just called the pizza hut ride for some reason. I am stupid sometimes. I can't really do a weekday as that means taking time off work so I think a saturday would be best for me - but I can't make the next two.
