Do wrap up warm today - remember the temperature is usually about 5oC lower on the tops compared to in the city.
Do bring lights

How did the fast ride go / did you lot get lost? We manged 47 miles in the end. We'll do this next week - The Rutland ride in reverse and do some hill reps up curbar.

Fast ride went well (Not fast but nice steady 16), nice route (We didn't end up going to Crich/Matlock i the end as we decided it would be too late by the time we got home) and awesome weather, really enjoyed it! Ended up at 58 miles so decent length too.
With that 45 mile route planned I think I will probably only do curbar once.

i agree jonny, wednesday is too close to the actual HC that reps would have no benefit - once only please!

OK. Once is definately enough for me too - just for people who many not have ridden up it yet.

I did your proposed ride for wednesday today, it was a lovely day but really hurt my knees. Won't be riding Weds though, probably XC.

It was a good day but was really cold when I set off at 7.45. Good - should be a good ride, there are a few hills but it is the peak district

Right... who's out tomorrow then? Tucker said he's being a wimp! So he's not out... who's planning on braving the warm peaks...?

Don't be a bully Jerome, I only said I was going out with the club if there was a slower ride going out. Otherwise I will set off earlier in the day to be back earlier.

Next weeks (3rd Nov.) parcour is up. We may extend it to also include Peak Forest - Wheston - Tideswell - Eyam (depending on time/weather). Don't worry we will be going down Winnet's (up Barber Booth) MEET AT 1.30PM AS THE CLOCKS GO BACK THIS WEEKEND
